What does it do?<\/li>\r\n<li>The importance of CSOs submitting reports to the Committee and their impact.<\/li>\r\n<li>Basic information for CSOs that will be submitting reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><strong>Speaker<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p><b><span lang=\"en-GB\">Benoit Van Keirsbilck<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0is trained in social work and children\u2019s rights. He is the Director of the Belgian section of\u00a0<b>Defence for Children \u2013 International<\/b>\u00a0(DCI) and the former\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">President of the\u00a0<b>International Executive Council<\/b>\u00a0(International board) of DCI. He is one of the founders and member of the\u00a0<b>Interdisciplinary Centre for the Rights of the Child<\/b>\u00a0(CIDE) which organises a University degree and conducts academic researches on children\u2019s rights. He is Chief Editor of the\u00a0<b>Journal of Children\u2019s Law<\/b>\u00a0(Belgium) and member of the Advisory board of the\u00a0<b>UN Global Study on children deprived of liberty<\/b>.
