Unfortunately, few human rights organisations in Turkey make use of this international mechanism, which is open to reporting by human rights organisations. For this reason, Etkiniz will host L\u00e0zarie Eeckeloo of the Centre for Civil and Political Rights, which works closely with the Committee and supports other CSOs that want to access the Committee, to discuss the human rights monitoring opportunities available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does the Committee\u2019s call for CSOs in Turkey cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UN Human Rights Committee expects short information notes and questions to be submitted by CSOs by May 21st 2021, to identify its list of issues for the \u201cAreas of Concern\u201d it will communicate to the Government of Turkey in July 2021. The Etkiniz webinar will answer your questions on how to prepare a questions list, report and submit an individual application to the Committee.
