We invite representatives of CSOs working in the field of child rights to meet international experts!

The Etkiniz EU Programme’s fifth webinar with international experts on human rights mechanisms, titled “Child Participation in Reporting to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child” will be held on April 30th 2021. Fundamental principles of child participation in reporting will be discussed at the webinar to be held with Child Rights Connect, an organisation that plays a significant role in supporting civil society organisations to engage with the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

  • Sample case studies.

Notes for Participants Who Wish to Listen to the Simultaneous Interpretation at the Webinar

Please make sure that you have the latest version of Zoom application on your device (Interpretation is not available on connections made over the web):

After joining the meeting, click the “World” icon for simultaneous interpretation, which is found at the Control Panel (under the Zoom window). (The main language of the will be English.)

Things to consider during the meeting

The maximum number of webinar participants is 500. In case more than 500 people register for the webinar, the system will allow the first 500 people to join at the time of the event.

  • Pelin Baykan from Anlatan Eller Derneği (Telling Hand Association) will interpret in sign language at the meeting.
  • You can send us your written questions by clicking the Q&A icon in the webinar control at the bottom of the Zoom window. Verbal questions will not be allowed at the webinar. Written questions will be compiled and conveyed to the speaker.
  • Before the webinar begins, please remember to check that you have an uninterrupted internet connection and that your headset has no problem with sound transmission.
